Vanishing Point has everything you could want in a cult car classic: a naked biker chick, a sweet muscle car, a likeable radio DJ, and lots of trippy scenes. So, if you’re up for an eerie drive through the West, take your own Vanishing Point road trip. We suggest you refrain from getting hopped up on speed or promise anyone you’ll make it to San Francisco by 3PM.

Oddly enough, most of the filming locations themselves have vanished or been abandoned. The rough and tumble Denargo Market area of Denver has been “revitalized” and now packs urban Yuppies into apartments walking distance to Coors Field. Most of the gas stations and background businesses in the movie are also long gone. You do, however, have the opportunity to visit two of the movie’s most recognizable landmarks.
